Ninja Book

My Graphic Design professor wanted us to dive into freelance work and suggested we look into the website 99designs. We were assigned to find a project interesting to us and create a book cover based on the brief.
I decided to illustrate three ninjas that were jumping into action. Their belts represent the karate belts but double as a symbol for money. The idea behind the ninjas was to show the hierarchy by making the main ninja be the richest one by carrying the green $20 belt.
